I also spent 20 years as a manager for my families business. During those years, I juggled many different types of roles and duties. Being organized in your work, whether in an office or your home is essential to your productivity. And there were times when I had to just stop and organize my office to get my work flow back on track.
Now that I have retired from the family business, I would like to share with you the skills that I developed through those years.
Organizing has always been a passion of mine (although, there were times when I did not apply it). As women we take on many different roles, wife, daughter, mom, sister, business owner, partner, friend... the list goes on... because of these various roles we can become overwhelmed with it all.
I understand the stress, frustration and many times depression that comes from clutter and disorganization. You are not alone... many people struggle with this... Isn't it time to let go of the "stuff" that takes up your space and burden your mind?
When I was a really young wife and mom a good friend once told me "Your home should be your haven". I had never really thought of it that way.
But I took it to heart... And it began to change the way I viewed my home.
